WHO DAT?

OK, so if you can identify this photo at the left then you know where we are. Yep, that's right, the BIG EASY! Spent a week in New Orleans after leaving Memphis and had a great time as usual. Weather was....what can I say? PERFECT!

We arrived at Bayou Segnette State Park on Saturday, Mar. 12, and headed into the French Qtr. that same night! All I can say is "What a Place".

The pictures next are in front of one of the restaurants we had dinner at called The House of Blues on Decatur Street. We must say the food was excellent! (seafood of course)

If you have not been to New Orleans, then maybe the title of this blog means nothing to you. It is a popular saying in the Big Easy. We spent 7 days at the state park, and took the free ferry from Algiers into the French Quarter 3 of those 7 days. If you remember from our blog last year we where here about the same time a year ago. We wondered if we would have the same good time we had a year ago; we did, if not better! It's a definite party down town on ole Bourbon Street or any street for that matter!
We didn't just party while we were there....we did some hiking as well, to walk off the great food and drink. We hiked 5 miles in the Jean Lafitte National Park. I won't bore you with pictures of snakes and alligators, as we've all seen them at one time or another, but I will leave you with a "WHO DAT" picture...

DAT is the St. Patty's Day Queen!
Now how old queenie got all them beads....well, you'll just have to ask her cause some chitlins might be reading this old blog.....

We're still on the move so check back and see "where in the world is Juan?" Bayou or Bye you, whatever you prefer.
