As I mentioned in the previous blog below, this will run concurrent with the same date as the previous entry due to the fact we have time tonight to finish catching up.. so be sure to keep reading here..keep scrolling down to catch up while I catch you up on our adventures. After leaving Ocala we headed out to Surf City North Carolina, but not before we spent one night at Myrtle Beach State Park. We then stopped for 4 hours to tour the Battleship USS North Carolina in Willmington NC. WOW! is all I can say! Everyone should have an opportunity to tour one of these GREAT Battleships in our history to really appreciate being an AMERICAN! Truely a humbling experience...Sometimes I wonder why I wasn't in the Navy, but then Nancy always reminds me I'm not a strong swimmer...
After being pulled away from my ship, we headed further north about an hour to our destination of Surf City, NC. Wedding Bells Daughter Laura and fiance Jimi joined us for 3 days on the beach and early sunrises.
The picture speaks for itself and getting up for the 0:650am sunrise speaks for... well lets say we did it twice and that's alot!
