Well again we are deliquent in keeping up with our blog so we have some catch up time, and we thought we'd do a few more posts. It's been a while since we documented our travels but boy have we been busy!
While in the Ocala National Forest area we had the opportunity to visit "The Villages" and Nancy's retired co-worker Larry and wife Linda. Had a great time with them in touring the popular retiree hot spot in Florida. We also spent a day at Silver Springs where they have the glass bottom boats. If you've never been there it is well worth the stop for a day of fun and sightseeing. Silver Springs, Florida is where the old TV series "Sea Hunt" was filmed along with many of the original Tarzan movies and some of the James Bond movies and many others. There are 3 different glass bottom boat trips you get to take that are included. To top it off we made it to the concert that afternoon at Silver Springs to see Glen Campbell. Now I know not everyone who is reading this blog remembers any of these old movies or Ole Glen, but some of our old fart friends remember don't you? Old Glen and my son-in-law used to be a lineman for the county...Oh, and by the way...we did get to golf while in Ocala and since our last golf outing in Naples Nancy is ...lets say more humbled! Need I say more?
I'll continue adding the next blog but the date will remain the same as I am playing catch up.
