Hello to all of our blogger family and friends from the Florida Keys. We have been in Marathon (Grassy Key) for a week now and in fact we are leaving this morning. We will be going to Palm Beach to visit Nancy's two uncles for the next five days. We must say the weather has been pretty darn nice down here. The 5 nights we've been here have gone by very fast as we have been busy doing things every day. We have biked alot while being on the Keys ( just under 40 miles to be exact) twice at the 7 mile bridge and sourrounding areas and all day in Key West. We made sure this time to watch our first sunset from Key West and it sure was pretty. Key West was as usual busy with people and cruise ships. Actually had a sloppy joe at Sloppy Joe's Bar & Restaurant. One of the best sloppy joe's we've ever had!. Yesterday, we were at Sombaro Beach all day - beautiful white sand beach. Two couples we met at the last campground are at this campground also so we were hanging out with them. They are, of course, from Michigan like so many others down here & what a great winter to be here! (From what we've heard.)
