Well it's that time again and by popular request we are entering our second year in a series of travel blogs. We have been in Forida just over a week and I must say SNOW- Sunny, Nice, Outside, Weather. How bout you guys up North! Can you say Snow?
Well, anyway, I know you can so here's our update.
We left Jan. 5th just before 7am (note: we did remember to close our garage door this time) and arrived in Alabama at 7:30 pm that day. Left the next morning at 6:30 am and arrived in Panama City at 3pm. Finally put on our shorts! We set up our camp overlooking the bay to the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful Site!
After two days noticed the camper had a flat tire sooooooooooo had to remove the tire and have it patched. Picked up a piece of metal like a heavy staple somewhere. Then the next day standing outside the truck I just happened to notice a nail in my rear truck tire, sooooooooooo had to take the truck in and have that tire patched. (At least that one was not leaking at the time) So that should conclude our tire problems this trip..We Hope..
We were able to spend a few days on the beach before the rains came in. As usual at St. Andrews State Park we saw alot of deer. We then had a cold front come in and it became cloudy and cooler (62 deg) so we left and continued further south.
We are now at Turtle Creek Campgrond in Homosassa. Nancy's Uncle and Aunt came up from Port Charlotte and are camping here as well. His son lives nearby. So was able to visit with family. Leaving here Sunday and heading for Thonotosassa, and hour south. Be sure to check back and follow us on our zany adventures (if you want).
